Project Normandy Tip's & TricksHi im Daniel. And if you havent guessed this thread will be dedicated to Tips and Tricks for Project Normandy.
US TEAM:

Tip #1: When assaulting the beach, keep on running!

When you stand in place or look for cover you are more likly to be hit by a Pak41 or an incoming MG42 fire. So for the love of the world, DONT STOP ON THE BEACH HEAD FOR THE BUNKERS.(If you head to the bunkers the MG42 will not be able to hit you)

Tip #2 Don't Forget the Landing boat is your friend!

The landing craft simple as it is, can still be used even after landing on the beach.
How daniel?

Well here how.

When landing the boat always have the 30cal fireing at the bunker, keeping the Germans heads down. You keep that MG42 from firing youll save the lives of your fellow soilders! Seems simple but, 3/4 of the time everyone just jumps out and heads out to a certain death from that !!FUN!! MG42.

Tip #3 You have a Semi-Auto Rifle you !!WIN!!

Yes as the US you have better Weaponds compared to the germans Kar98. Use this to your advantage in a firefight. While 2-3 men can lay supress fire with there M1 Grands, the rest of the Squad can flank left or right and take that objective out.

Tip #4 Why the fuck is Squad 3 hitting the beach? Oh they died.

When assaulting the beach, ASSUALT IN MASS WAVES! Going in alone with your squad will only alert the enemy to that sector and ruined the plan for the rest of the team. So if your commands telling everyone group up, i would just do what he says since this aint Insurgency were u can 1 man the cache boy. If 126 players is ever allowed on PN Assault in waves of 32. Since both teams have 64 players each.

Tip #5
We have the Mortars we can Destroy them!

Build up the mortars on the docks and USE them. They can be used to take out enemy defenses. They can also be used to provide cover for your infantry, by launching smoke grenades. -AfterDune

Tip #6 ENEMY ARTILLERY!!!

Make use of the area attack. You get artillery which is available on round start. -AfterDune





Wehrmacht Team(Germans)

This part is best read with a german accent.

Tip #1 Set up that FOB LINE Urnist!

The Downfall of the Beach defences is the lack of man power the wehrmacht can deploy there. This can be eliminated by placing FOB 150m-200m alway from each objective and useing that as a rapid deployment. The more men the wehrmacht can suffle around to aid in defence the better they will withstand the US waves of !!FUN!! men.

Tip #2 Why do we have hafe our team in that one bunker?!

Yes this. Why must we have 16 German all watching the 2 MG42 fireing on the boats of endless !!FUN!!? Spread out all over the coast have 1 Squad for each sector. And reserve squad ready to deploy to neede areas.

Tip #3 Hey Urnist why are you tipping the Hafe-track?!!

The hafe-track, AKA a wana-be-tank. Use it as it was ment to be used. Transport men and supplys to the front lines. If that is not needed. Set up on the beach and mow the enemy down as they come off thoses ramps. because Only the Hafe-tracks, and mobile MG42 can aim donw there sights making them the best MG the germans can deploy right now.(The hafe track is almost worst than the LAVlll, it tips to many times. )

Tip #4 Why do you have the K98?!

Use the gewehr 43/41 its better than the K98 and its Semi-Auto with is on par with the US OP guns. So for the love of the father land Dont use the K98!

Tip#5 We have the Mortars! Use them Unist!

Have you ever looked inside the Mortar Battery on round start? No? You really should. Build up the FOUR mortars you get for free and bomb the living daylight out of your enemy! -AfterDune

I noticed , when 1 or 2 squads manage to get to the bunkers, while the rest ot the team was wiped out , these 2 squads tend to STAY in the bunkers.
My idea is : if u managed to survive the drop and got yourself to the bunkers - try to move as far north as u can. If u stay in the bunker - u will be heavily grenaded and outnumberred, and eventually ran over.
Move north, wait for the team to assemble another wave, move back and clear the bunkers for your team.

Yep move the frontline as far up as you can.

Can't anyone notice the trend that US has to cap EP first over all others?

There are multiple and obvious reasons for that but the Wehrmacht just love Fox and especially Dog. Move your asses to the East and someone please man the MG in the bunker just south of Charlie, it has a perfect view to that tiny beach. Even the few guys that are patient there seem to forget that important detail.
If you're SL, be smart and place HMGs a bit west of Charlie facing the terrain ramps...enjoy the slaughter.
