I dont know if there is any fix for this but when you fire the BAR deployed it fires higher than the iron sights aim. Also when deployed it fires much faster than when not deployed thus eating up the 20 rounds extremely quickly.

Yeah, it's a known error.

The speed is intentional though.

I believe that im only one who likes idea of high ROF when BAR deployed. I played Bar a lot and i even start to shoot accurately on long ranges, of course rof is too high so I have to shoot 2-3 rounds burst.
The real problem starts in tranches and bunkers - when u stand against MP40 and MG3 you are really screwed because of low rof when not deployed.

Same situation with MP40 - it has too low rof and when you fight against Thompson it will probably defeat you.

And question too dev - why you decided to give MG34 in final version than MG42?

It's actually an MG3. Most people in-game call it an MG42, so the weapon icon should be changed.

Yeah the icon should be changed. And for the BAR it's actually ok to have higher ROF in deployed, the BAR was able to change it's ROF somehow.

Just to add to this, I notice the aiming for the BAR is differently off center, that and it's taking way to long to fire the gun once it's reload, compared to other guns.

We might have a new BAR model if I recal corectly, with centered iron sights.

It's still a lot faster than the MG42 as the reload animation is pretty short. But I know where you're coming from. I've reduced the 'get ready' time for a bunch of weapons, can't remember if this is one of them, but we'll have to test it in a next version of PN.

Maybe. Last time I checked the reload animation was incorrect (bugs me :p ), but I'm going to look at it again.

So that's why i can't hit shit with the BAR :P Well good to know it's a bug and not my crappy aim, lol.

There was this one time i had 9 enemies in my (bugged) sights with the BAR, all within 100 meters, i layed down and deployed, waited for deviation and started shooting, not a single bullet hit them. I managed to fire 4 mags and didn't kill anyone :(
