Installing BF2:SF

Well lately I decided to install Battlefield 2 Special Forces. And well when I go through the installation process, it says that it can't locate my BF2 file (which isn't in my "C

rograms Files by the way). How can I get it to find it? Or do I have to reinstall BF2 (which I don''t wanna do because I have something like 10 mods installed).

when you are installing it in the wizard it should give you a choice of where to install it to

what do you need SF for anyway?

Wasn't it in the support forum? And somehow the install wizard doesn't let me chose my installation folder.

I need SF 'cause there is this mod coming out, Special Ops Warfare and apparently it required SF...

Battlefield 2 Special Forces is already isntalled on your PC. It became a free addon with the 1.5 patch. If you can play PR, which requires 1.5 patch, you have Battlefield 2 Special Forces installed correctly.

DO NOT try to install an old CD version of Battlefield 2 Special Forces on top of your current BF2 installation or you will be required to completely reinstall BF2, (or revert to a backup of your OS and game install drive(s) if you have one).

I think you got to have both BF2 installed and a SF disk to install off. Sorry Litoris, only Euro Force and Armoured Fury came with the 1.5 patch, special forces was not.

I get the message "BF2 Special Forces requires that Battlefield 2 to be installed. Please install Battlefield 2 before continuing." Grrr....

Normally, it's something like this...

- Install BF2
- Install BF2:SF
- Install BF2 patch 1.41
- Install BF2 patch 1.5
- Install PR

Tried that as well?

Yeah just did. It's working great. Before I had patch 1.5 installed before SF. Works great. Thanks
