Project Normandy Update

[R-COM]Arc_Shielder has an announcement for you:

Image
Project Normandy is proud to announce the change of name to Project Reality: World War II.

What started as simple proof of concept based on D Day, soon evolved to a team that is working to expand where the previous release was left.

Time passes by fast, but it's worth remembering the origins that took us where we are now. If it wasn't for AfterDune, and later Pvt.Heureux and rodrigoma, by 0.98, the WWII dream wouldn't be possible within the realistically immersive world of PR.

PR:WWII signifies the transition to a higher ambition of taking the minimod up to PR standards. With the help of new team members custom content is being made as well as new models that were generously provided by other mods in order to make PR:WWII an unforgettable experience.

Obviously, the change of name makes it possible to include new fronts. We don't want to restrict the minimod to a single campaign when the resources available grant us the opportunity to expand to other fronts without, of course, losing notion of our main goals. Fronts like the Pacific or the Eastern Front are growing but will only be available to the public once they've met the necessary requirements for a proper release; that either can be in the next release or some time from then.

We are looking for fairly skilled members to our team even if just to undertake a community task. The more people involved, the faster we will be able to provide a wide range of WWII conflicts. If you're interested, please send a private message to [R-COM]Arc_Shielder.

Thanks to all of those who support our development. Updates will come soon.

Cheers, the PR:WWII team.

^Such a move by a MODERATOR is truly unwelcome.

Great to see some progress on Normandy. Good luck!
