Hiya, welcome back,
OPen the main Fraps window,
Click the "Movies' Tab.
TICK the "Record external input" tickbox
If you have multiple external inputs, select your micrphone from the dropdown list.
If you have a Nvidia GPU, GTX6XX or GTX7XX, I suggest swapping over to using the Nvidia ShadowPlay utility in the newest Nvidia drivers. It's absolutely amazing bit of software that does NOT lower FPS during recording. Some info here to get started:

and i used to make vids of my rounds useing fraps all was well sounds inclueding the mumble voip was being recorded on fraps. the last time i played was 0.71 but things have changed in the mod with mumble. i hear all the channel voip in game as well as mumble but my fraps is not picking it up when i record my game only game sounds just no voip... i dont understand why and have looked and tried to change things but with out sucsess... im at a loss
