1221: Unable to obtain an update list

I've found the answer to my error message, so this is not a support request, if it needs to be moved elsewhere, I apologize for having posted it in the wrong place.

This post is to help others like me who are searching for the error msg: "Unable to obtain an update list".

Did a search for this phrase and didn't find anything. Luckily, someone who had asked about it and had got no resolution had later added an edit to his original post saying that he had found the solution in News (while not providing any links, of course).

So basically, go here:
Downloads | Project Reality

and download the file at the white Patches section, titled, in yellow: PR:BF2 v1.4.0.0 to v1.4.1.0 Patch
