No sound

Post by ErtandStuff »

Hello all. I am new to this community, and I am excited to be apart of it. Your reputation as a community is really good, and I can't wait to get more experience playing this game and play with all of you.

However, a minor setback has come up with my experience playing this game. I can run this game at a decent frame rate. However, when ever I enter a game and then a squad, my sound for the game cuts out. I can then only hear my squad mates, and people in close proximity. I can't hear gun sounds, explosions, bullets, etc. As if Mumble takes the place of the actual game's audio output if that makes sense.

Thanks for the help,
ErtandStuff

P.S. This is my system info if needed

Hiya, welcome,

Do you have another version of mumble installed on your PC by chance?

go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Project Reality\Project Reality BF2\mods\pr\bin\PRMumble\PRMumble.exe and start the program.

in PRMumble, go to Configure->Settings->Bottom right click Advanced tickbox->Audio Output->Interface and deselect the Exclusive Tickbox.

Click Apply.

Test in game.
