Screen bug

Whenever I connect to a server, I go to squad assignment and immediately my mouse cursor is frozen in the middle of the screen and no buttons work. I can still voice chat but that is it. I'm not sure if this is just something wrong with the files or my game is just broken. Thanks for any help!

Have you tried restarting ? I had this at one point after playing an Assassins Creed game and then starting BF2.

I did not. I fixed it as per this guide

However now when I start the game the black Screen Comes up and the game Closes. It is not installed to default directory.

Iz all good it runs now. I still had compatibility mode set from when I was fidgeting.

I will try re installing again, has occurred after first reinstallation and could be perhaps a bad file

Check the tools available in the launcher. Black screen crash can be caused by incompatible video settings, resolution and frequency. I think standard advice it to delete the videosettings.con file or what ever its called so it regenerates.
