Hello...
I have a trouble since I bought a new laptop.
Mumble doesn't trasmit my voice properly.
For example, When I say something like this, in ingame audio option,(after I click Microphone test button)
"Enemy APC two fifty!"
then it transmit my word as,
"Enemy A** *** fifty!"
or
"After I revive you, I need you to move south and take cover."
as
"After I r**** you, I n*** you to move ***th and take cover."
Microphone volume is high enough, so when I have a microphone test in the ingame option, I can see long green bars.
It doesn't seem like it is a hardware or laptop issue because when I record the same sentence with Win 10 recording app, I get the very clear voice of mine.
My laptop is Acer Aspire E5-575G-53VG.
CPU i5-7200U,
8gb ddr4 RAM,
Nvidia Geforce 940MX
256GB SSD
and
sound card is Realtek High Definition Audio (driver version is 6.0.1.7910)
I've already tried to update my sound driver, but it didn't solve the problem.
I also tried couple of things that I could find on Google search, including some suggestions from Mumble FAQs and this forum. (Like changing Mumble configure in some way...)
Mumble setting wizard didn't fix this problem.
I can still play PR with this broken voice, but it annoys me when I can't deliver my thoughts and ideas to other players well... ;(
I would be appreciated if I can get some suggestions in this forum. Thank you for reading.

Try lowering your input threshold and check your latency settings.

My threshold is 0% and I've already tried this... not working...Raklodder wrote:Try lowering your input threshold and check your latency settings.
Mumble - Fixing Mumble Robotic or Distorted Sound
Is there any other way to solve this?

Actually if it's cutting otu like that first simple things that would come to mind are:
A. your key is loose/not pressing hard enough
B. your voice is actually too low that your mic doesn't detect you talking/mumble doesn't detect you talking, kinda how if you whisper in teamspeak it won't count as speaking.
