Stuck at 15% for a long time

Hey

I’ve played PR for some years now, but since last weeks i have a ‘problem’.
When i join a map (online/offline) my loadscreen gets stuck at 15% (Objects). The good old bf2 was 62%, but now it is 15%. Maybe it is since the latest update

Due to the long loading time, i miss the squad-up time.

I have a Dell M3800 Workstation (yes, not that new)
i7 4702 quadcore
16GB ram
NVIDIA K1100M
250 SSD (with PR installed)
500GB 7200rtm HDD

I someone knows what to do, please let me know.

Everyone’s game gets stuck a bit at 15% and 62%. But I’m not sure why it might suddenly start taking longer. Try reinstalling maybe or reset your laptop.

Don't compare BF2 to PR. The difference is huge.

If the whole loading time is not longer than a minute and a half, there is nothing wrong.

Well it is noticeable longer. Like i said, i’ve been playing PR for more than 4 years now, and it never took that long at the 15%. Now it is taking way more than 2 minutes at the 15% mark. I do know PR is really diffrent in terms of laoding, game, amount of objects... than bf2.

I’ve tried to ‘reset’ the graphics from high to even low, clear the shader history... doesn’t help. I’ll time next time how long it takes to load a map online and offline.

The thing is, i’m now doing an student-exchange and i have REALLY sh!tty internet here. So re-downloading/installing the game will take days. Thats why i was wondering if there was an other solution.

But anyways, thx for the answers. I’ll let you know how long it takes and i’ll see you on a server if it’s fixed

Deleting shader cache makes loading even longer since the shaders need to be recompiled.

Perhaps you have some kind of software running in the background that slows down the loading process?

I don't think reinstalling will help.

Okay so

I did join a game today (it was a Co-Op since the other servers were full).

0%-15% : 1min 23 seconds
15% : 2 min 20 seconds
16%-100%: 20seconds
Total: 4min 3 seconds

It is really annoying because i always miss the squad-time.
