I've been playing PR for a little, but for the last few months it's been unreasonably laggy. When I first started playing PR, it was relatively smooth at my native resolution, but now I have to put all graphics settings to low and lower my resolution and even then I don't really get the smooth gameplay that I had before. This kinda made me discouraged and I didn't want to play for a while anymore.
Has this happened to you guys? How do I fix this?? Any tips?

Surface Pro 5 (i think)
I7-7660 2.5Gh Dual-core
16 GB RAM
Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640
2736 x 1824 Display

With the Iris iGPU, it's probably okay to target 720p or 900p medium, it's gonna be hard to run the game at native res.
I think the main culprit of the low performance is your CPU, the i7-7660U only has two cores, and even though it has an okay turbo clockspeed, the limiter will only make your CPU run at 4GHz in less than few minutes.
My best suggestion is to upgrade to at least an 8th gen Intel or a Zen2 AMD.
