lately i have been very busy with school and learning new skills like HP to LP, texturing and generally trying to make my worth within in team.
so at the request of zzez i have been doing this small thing for the m113 for the idf faction

(will not be featured in .9)
been trying to get my head around some texturing for one of the old models that i made.

'
i have been working on lods and setups (and failed hard at first until i learned it

)
and i have been helping community modelers get some feedback on their models (this model made by danke and textured by another community member)

it's an israely RPG cage
we tried with an alpha at first, but it became almost transparent.

Ok i would say try add some highlighting to it then, it seems very flat and not metallic looking. The alpha'd version is an improvement. Need a hand i can always help if you get me the psd

it's made with tiling in the metal texture, it doesn't even have a proper specular to it because of problems with exports so don't worry

If you didn't say that, I would have thought you did a really 5***y texture job.
