i've always wanted to go to oktoberfest. My friends have gone over on low budgets and gotten langered. How much is beer over there?

It's a shame i've been living in Bavaria (well Franconia to be honest) for almost 20 years now and never made it to the Wiesn...

But as a student you have a really hard time there i guess, up to 10 € for a pint of beer... damn ^^

Work there as a waiter if you need money. Two of my cousins worked there for one Wiesn and got a 5-figure payment. Ton of stress though.

Haha never knew that you are from franconia too, Gamml. I visited the Oktoberfest for the last 3 years and trust me, Im not a rich man either. My friends and I normally drink in the train on the way to Munich and when we arrive we dont need more than 1-2 Pints

a PR meeting on the Oktoberfest would just be great.

Franconians dont need the octoberfest

... we have the Bergkirchweih (Erlangen), Sandkerwa (Bamberg) and Annafest (Forchheim)

never been to the octoberfest too. I have my fair share of beer fests here
