Increase psychological suppression sound design

Post by Grump/Gump.45 »

Lots of things this could fix gameplay wise, increase realism and immersion. Bullets that miss are psychological weapons rather than direct hits, need the panic effect increased so they can't tell the difference between suppression and bullets whizzing by.

More crack, snap and whizzing effects, louder, more true to life. Any recording equipment you could bring to a range or have a gun YouTuber help you out with this and promote the game.

Need the bullet whizzing noises and newer louder whizzing noises and the snaps, not every bullet seems to make a snapping noise we already have.

Need more fear, higher heart rates, increased simulated trauma to get more reactions in the short term.

But also to get more of the combined arms solutions of desperation in the long term like DOD edge super FOBs when forced to the last flag, one team is going to lose and its better to just throw overthing on a flat terrain flag area like Kashan or Black Gold last flags.

We need LOUDER whizzing noises, variations of whizzing. Make them want cover more from the emplacements, armor assets and each others weapons.

Hopefully instead of 2 people sitting on opposite corners just trying to sit still seeing who can shoot who more accurately first, the sound could make them back off instead of just sitting there until one is dead.

Prolong the fight. This could also increase peoples understanding and will to suppress, knowing the sound creates fear and high heart rates, hesitation.

1 Man per piece of cover, Move cover to cover. In view of each other to save each other by shooting, distraction, division of enemy attention and ammo. 1 man hit per RPG/tank shell/mortar spread formation full time. Edge of cap zone. Use camouflage, police up each others exposure, no man seen sticking out. Scan aggressively with eyes and ears for anything suspect, even for birds disturbed to fly out of trees
