we were in some thick nasty forest with my team.
we had from our commander this mission to capture some important point.
it was some warehouse...i didnt know what were inside this warehouse but it doesnt matter,because im loyal soldier and i do what i have been told.
it was almost too quiet,no bird,no frogs,nothing.
my squadleader order me to scout in some hill and i did.
they proceed to rendezvous point near the warehouse.
think....!absolut silence,like everything in this godforsaked forest were dead.
and then....bang.it was grenade.
near my position.i was lying on ground,blood in my eyes.i was hurt.
i lost my thinking there but i remember this guy,he said his name...ööö,medic?...yeah,it was medic.he talk to me,"you get better,dont cry now","no,no,no,its not cold now,you dont feel any cold...its summer goddammit and you have mission to do".
"get back with your team and take that warehouse soldier!!!"
there i was suddenly alone again.i got to make to the rendezvous point and regroup with my team.
there were maybe many hostiles in my way but with my heart and gun i will make it.
and guess what happend then?.......bang!!!!!!!!!!!!
