Re: Hype died down quite a bit?
how hard is it to push this out? a simple version could be farted out in a weekend. unless your trying to make underground tunnels or fine tuning napalm or somthing i dont think it would be difficult for modders of PR's caliber. whats actually going on?
(not being an aggressive dolt btw, im just asking. because from what i can see everything is there, but no effort is being directed to organise it. matrox do somthing.)

Even if you still had tester access you'd still see nothing, so how can you say no effort is being directed to organise it, nub?Psykogundam wrote:from what i can see everything is there, but no effort is being directed to organise it.

I agree! I do NOT like desert maps but it is our opinion along with others!!! I will keep hope up! With positivity, god will help this work!!! I will also make a new pr map as soon as I get stupid antivirus.NET off my computer which Is giving it a virus and I have no clue how to get it off so I'm using my itouch! ! God will help it work!!! Just be positive!!! I will also try to make my own version of bf2prV as soon as my computer gets fixed and I learn a bit more stuff on bf2 map editor! ! I may release it and may not! I still am not sure If I will even make one, but I'll try!!! !ACE_FIN1972 wrote:Oh, I'm waiting this so much. I have always loved the jungle maps and there should not be desert in this release (I don't like desert maps). This will be the perfect PR game once it is released!

Re: Hype died down quite a bit?
Last year was a long year with people working on and off on PR:V. Thn PR v0.93 got "in the way" ( ), which turned into a massive v0.95 release. Many people are currently working the next version of PR. The DEV forums of PR:V have been opened to the team (BF2 R-CON and R-COM), which gave PR:V the boost it needed.
I must say, PR:V is more alive than ever!
And errrm... "ready in a weekend".... lol, you have no idea how much work there's still left.
Btw, mappers, if you're interested in mapping for PR:V, feel free to do so. Maps have to be either 2km or 4km. PR level of quality applies, of course.

ITS NOT DONE.
My gaze pierces mountain and cloud, i see and hear everything thats going on.
excuses make baby jesus cry! beg borrow steal! get your maps and take all your statics and soldiers and vehicles and dump it into a bag, and throw it at us. you guys cant believe that all three versions (PR, PRV, and PRA2) are going to magically come out at the same time. one of which WILL defenitly lag bahind and miss the deadline and thats gonna be PRV. besides if you did release them all at the same time it would force the community to choose the better of the three and there would be no equal hype for any of them. i think you should release PRV like inside the next month, then PRA2 over the summer then PR later this year in 3Q that way all three versions will get all the same amounts of hype with no decline in the amount of population for all three games/mods. and also it will increase the level of quality for PRV instead of it getting the shitty end of the stick or worse, just being scrapped for redundant resources and being a waste of time.[R-DEV]AfterDune wrote:Last year was a long year with people working on and off on PR:V. also you cant always leave it up to the same 2 or 3 DEVs that allways do the builds. i think sombody should take the initiative and just build it.
whatever. i dont know wether my flaming did any good. i just hope sombody got a spark of inginuity from my rant. when it eventually comes out im sure it will be just like PR. i just dont think the testers should have their workload built up into an enormous heap and then dumped on them at the last minute leaving a butt-load of holes and bugs in their wake. from what i understand the testers are fewer in number since i left last year.
@afterdune: didnt mean to poop on your post yesterday. im happy to hear that theres productivity.

Here's what I wanted to share anyways. Doesn't mean anything, just thought it was fun.

It means alot, you showed a map overview plus some vehicles we haven't seen before, thanks for sharing
That map isn't really going to be in PRV though is it?
