I love asset maps/4km, but could we not play them 4 rounds in a row. Tonight we played shijia, black gold, kashan, and silent eagle all in a row. There are plently of AAS maps that aren't 4km maps.

For me personally I meant more 2km maps, I kind of think as 4km as asset centered. Fools road and qwai are good 2km maps in my opinion. Silent eagle, and fools road inf layers are also really good.

Quick question, where are your servers located?
Tech support question, tying to help a guy figure out if he has a possible jitter/packet loss problem on his end or something like that.

More urban maps in general. I hate these wide open maps where inf cant hide very well(who are usually most of the plyers in the server at anytime....ex. Kashan, Silent Eagle, Yamalia.)Deathtrap wrote:What inf maps do you guys want to see more of?
Siege at Ocha, Marlin, Iron Ridge, Dragonfly, Beruit, Muttrah, Asad, Gaza AAS, Iron Eagle CAN be a good urban one if a flag is in the city.

Insurgency
I'v noticed a serious problem with ghosting on this server during insurgency.
Just playing a round of Karbala to see BLUFOR Armour and air recon circling an unknown cache location with no reason to be there. I reported the Stryker crew as it was clear it wasnt searching the compound - it went straight to the cache and sat there, looking in. There are multiple places a cache can be in this compound, and its no conincidence it went straight to this one (there were other potential locations much nearer to its line of approach, but it didnt seem bothered with them at all!). Im not going to name names, but it turned out the crew was a server admin. I was ironically kicked immediately for "ghosting" myself by the admin who I reported. What would have been more appropriate for CIA's integrity would be for the admin to deal with it another way, as removing a whistle-blower immediately caused allot of admin-bashing in squad mumble, where people got the idea that it was an attempt to justify misconduct. As for ghosting in general, this is by no means an isolated event. All too often you can observe unknown caches being raided destroyed within a couple of minutes of heir existence. I too am familiar with the phenomenon that a large amount of players have learnt where the cache spawn locations and patrol them, but in these cases it is obvious. I've even observed it happening several times while on BLUFOR myself, either by eye or by map. There is no doubt in these players minds and actions as to where unknown caches are.
I recognise that ghosting is not easy to police, especially when clans play en mass on CIA. However, to me it seems ghosting is disproportionately regular on the CIA server and it might be valuable for CIA to consider how often they should run insurgency maps if elements of the community, from admin to newbie, are insistent on breaking server rules
In regards to this specific event, although feel CIA is one of the best admined servers around, I think those who decide the rules at CIA should either sit down together and revise admining rules/ethos, or simply remind the admin team of what they are meant to be doing and why.
Cracking down on the minority within and outside who wish to screw it up for the rest of us is always an ongoing process. Great server guys, keep up the good work.

Re: ]CIA[ Kokan & Hookers (North America)
Few days ago on Ins Dragonfly me and my friend were playing as Tank sq, one of CIA guys joined (not admin). After we took 1st know cache he started roaming around city and he "somehow" always ended in buildings where unkow spawned, screaming on chat/mumble "100% there is a cache, a lot of enemies there". We started jokeing after takeing 3th that he will say that in next 5min and he did...'[R-MOD wrote:Mongolian_dude;1877992']Insurgency

The secound issue are assets whore members/admins. Whenever i take asset squad and i lock it to inv friends who are still connecting and it will end in filling my squad to 6 I'm asked to open it even if they were told that they connecting so i don't need more ppl. About 2 weeks ago on Operation Archer i took APC sq and 2 guys from CIA joined (after warning etc that i have to open) and rushed to the only 1 APC that spawn on start. So i started to kick them since i have to keep sq open untill all mates join, they kept joining until my friends were able to take APC from them. Then I were namecalled by them and few others CIA members from other squads for whole round whenever i were close to them on local mumble.
You have several nice members/admins but i must say that there is a lot of them that are, a cancer to your clan and PR overal.
