I've been with the Tigers for a few months now and i'm a recruit.

Compared to all the sergeant ranks, warrant officer, officer commission pay grades i've held in realism units to fun clans - the rank of Recruit in Tiger Platoon is the best i've had.

Some groups demand you show up at a certain time every week for useless training.

Others have Generals leading an Army of two privates.

Casual groups can be too casual if you want the experience of an environment closer to a special forces unit operating tactically.

Leaders can sometimes be lacking in integrity, practicality, and strength in the right areas.

Even if you only find enjoyment squad leading in public games like me, the way each member in Tiger Platoon operates is on a much high level than your average Project Reality player. The experience itself is more fun than playing in a normal squad. In public games, I die of boredom and thinking (and keeping to myself) all the wrong things the squad leader is doing. I don't feel that now.

It's the best you can find because even the average Project Reality player is ten times better in squad coordination than any other game.

Who/what is the Tiger Platoon?
We are a team with around 20 active members, from which a good portion are actual military personnel in real life. By far most of our members are from North-Western and Northern Europe, namely Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, England and Holland.
Just weeks ago we celebrated our 4th year birthday of the platoon, a very memorable event. Four years is a long time, and for an internet group centuries even. This is a clear pointer that marks the success of this group, still operating under the same principles from when it was founded in 2009.

What makes us special?
We are incredibly decisive in one team's ability to overcome a dedicated opponent. From the initial training we provide for all new members, abilities are taught to every member to optimise not only his own ability to operate effectively, but also increase his ability to operate in a highly active and capable team.
With this we fight for victory and we like to think that our efforts can make the difference that ensures victory for the team as a whole. On the battlefield we use tactical thinking, teamwork, skill, experience and ferocious spirit and morale to crush opponents.

What do we offer the aspirants?
What we primarily do is operate in a military structure, adapted to the virtual environment of Project Reality. We have members dedicated to specialized tasks within each squad, including all types of warfare in PR, ranging from combined arms, mortars to heavy vehicles. These operations are directed by leading TP personnel who are able to effectively use all these groups to form a killing machine able to overwhelm the enemy. From my own experience and maybe you have had the fortune to see us in action already, it is a blast to be a part of such an effective group.

What is the Tiger Platoon looking for?
We are looking for members with a professional mind-set, preferably from North-Western and Northern Europe and optionally from North America as well. We are looking for the best of the best. If you feel like you might be able to become a part of one of the most effective groups in PR, just keep on reading.

A few years later still recommend these guys. From all the way back to the 26MEU days as a allied unit. Rare for me to catch some time with you guys ingame, but I enjoy it as much as I can when I can.
